In light of the importance of protecting personal information, the Chofu City Fencing Association (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act on the Protection of Personal Information) and other related laws and guidelines, handle personal information properly, and take appropriate measures for safety management. The Association will ensure that personal information is handled appropriately by providing thorough training and guidance to its employees to ensure that personal information is handled properly. In addition, the Association will promptly respond to complaints and consultations regarding the handling of personal information, and will review and improve the Association's handling of personal information and appropriate measures for secure management as appropriate.

JEMAI complies with laws, regulations, and other rules regarding the protection of personal information.

The Association will use personal information to provide products, product information, services, etc. that are considered most suitable for you or your customers, as well as for the Association's product development and marketing data. In principle, however, personal information will be used only after statistical processing so that individuals cannot be identified. The Association will use the collected personal information only to the extent necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and will make every effort to ensure that the rights of our customers and clients are not compromised.

3. provision to third parties, outsourcing and joint use of personal information
JEMAI does not provide personal information it has acquired to third parties without the consent of the individual, except as required by law. However, there are cases in which personal information may be shared among our contractors and group associations within the scope of the purpose of use of personal information.

4. management of personal information
JEMAI will endeavor to keep personal information accurate and up-to-date, and will manage it securely. When managing the personal information of clients and customers, JEMAI appoints a person responsible for the management of such information, and strives to manage such information appropriately and to prevent its leakage to outside parties. The Association will also supervise its employees and contractors as necessary and appropriate. The Association will take appropriate measures to protect the personal information of customers and clients against risks such as unauthorized external access, loss, destruction, and falsification. The Association will limit access to databases and other information related to personal information to those who have the right to access them, and will strictly manage them to ensure that they are not used improperly or for purposes other than those for which they were originally intended, even within the Association's premises.

5. requests for disclosure of personal information and handling of complaints
When JEMAI receives a request, complaint, or other question from an individual regarding personal information managed by JEMAI, such as notification of purpose of use, disclosure, correction, suspension of use or deletion, refusal to provide to a third party, JEMAI will respond to such request within a reasonable scope.

6. continuous improvement of management system
JEMAI will continuously review and improve its management system for the protection of personal information through in-house education, operation, audits, etc.
