Expanding the Horizons of Fencing and Illuminating the Future

At the Chofu Fencing Association, we offer a wide range of opportunities for everyone—from those who simply want to try fencing or enjoy it as beginners to those who are determined to win and become stronger.

To help children, the future leaders of our society, experience the joy of sports, we continuously hold fencing trial classes at elementary schools in Chofu City. For those with fencing experience, we provide opportunities to compete in local competitions held in spring, autumn, and winter, as well as a chance to experience the world through our first-ever international competition this summer.

Additionally, we are committed to creating employment opportunities related to fencing by providing spaces for those aspiring to become fencing instructors.

Through fencing, we aim to foster enjoyment, challenges, and a society where individuals can grow independently.
We will continue to create dreams on the stage of Chofu.

Becoming the Keystone of the Fencing World

The trapezoidal shape of our logo represents a "keystone."

When constructing a stone arch bridge, stones are stacked from both sides, and at the apex of the arch, a wedge-shaped stone—the keystone—is placed. Though it may seem like a small component, if removed, the entire bridge would collapse.

We see ourselves as the "keystone" in the promotion and development of fencing, particularly in Chofu City. Our goal is to harmonize and support everyone involved—those who want to enjoy fencing, competition organizers, sponsor partners, and instructors—so they can perform at their best. We aim to be that essential presence that holds everything together.

Additionally, we aspire to build new arches in the fencing world through fresh challenges. This vision is also embedded in our logo.

At the center of the mark, we have incorporated a sword, with the star at the tip symbolizing the three fencing disciplines: Foil, Épée, and Sabre.

With many partners by our side, we hope to support everyone enjoying fencing on this bridge, each carrying their own dreams. This heartfelt wish is also reflected in our design.
