*The details of the pre-training camp will be announced in mid-April. Participation in only the competition or only the pre-training camp is also possible.

*If there are not enough participants in the U8 category, boys and girls may be grouped together.
*If there are not enough participants in veteran categories, the age groups may be combined.

7.Entry Application

1. How to Apply: Please register throng the dedicated entry page. * Please register as a team.
2. Entry Period: March 20, 2025 (Thu) – June 30, 2025 (Mon)
3. Payment Deadline: Payment must be completed throng the dedicated entry page by July 10, 2025 (Thu).

8.Important Information

(1) Safety Management
• All participants, including athletes and coaches, must have personal liability and injury insurance.
• The organizer is not responsible for any injuries or accidents occurring during the competition or training. Participants must take full precautions.
• Practicing outside the designated areas may cause accidents and inconvenience to others. Any participant found violating this rule will be disqualified.
(2) Handling of Personal Information
The competition office will use personal information obtained during registration only for event management purposes. Additionally, photographs and videos taken at the venue may be used for the following purposes:
• Displaying on-site and for announcements
• Publishing on the association’s and competition’s official websites
• Inclusion in reports and other materials related to the event

9.Awards

• Gold Medal & Prize: Awarded to the champion in each category and event.
• Medals: Awarded to the top 3 competitors in each category and event.
• Certificates: Awarded to the top 8 competitors in each category and event.

10.Accommodation, Meals, and Tourism

(1) Official Travel Agency: Keio Travel Sports Branch
(2) Official Tour Packages: Available for booking throug the dedicated page.
(3) Food Services: Food trucks will be available at the venue on competition days.

11.Additional Notes

(1) Only registered athletes and designated coaches are allowed entry into the play arena.
(2) The guidelines may be subject to change. Updates will be posted on the competition’s official website. Please check regularly for the latest information.

Category-Specific Competition Guidelines

U8, U10, U12 Categories

1.Eligibility

(1) Nationality: No restrictions.

(2) Age Requirements: Participants must enter the category corresponding to their age as of December 31, 2024.

*Each participant may enter up to two categories, but only one category per day.
*Holding a license from the International Fencing Federation (FIE), the Asian Fencing Confederation, or any national fencing federation are not required

2. Participation Fees

1) Residents in Japan:JPY 8,000

2) Overseas Participants: USD 100

3) Additional Fees for Multiple Categories:
o JPY 2,000 per additional category (for Japan residents)
o USD 30 per additional category (for overseas participants)
* All payments must be made in Japanese yen through the designated registration page. The exchange rate as of March 20, 2025, will apply.

3.Competition Rules

(1) This competition will follow the latest FIE rules and regulations. Additionally, participants must comply with Chapter 4, Section 1 of the FIE rulebook regarding athlete equipment and safety management.
o Equipment regulations will follow:
 ▪ June 13, 2010: "Safety Management and Prevention of Accidents in Competitions"
 ▪ January 8, 2015: "Revised Safety Standards for Masks"

(2) The following exceptions will apply:
o No specific blade requirements.
o 350N masks are allowed.
o Plastic chest protectors with soft covers:
 ▪ Mandatory for female fencers
 ▪ Recommended for male fencers
o 350N wares are allowed.
o National emblems and name patches (back number) are not required.

5.Equipment Inspection

(1) No pre-match weapon control. Instead, referees will conduct control on the piste before each match.

(2) Wares , protective gear, and masks will be checked if exhausted. If any defects are found, the fencer will receive a yellow card and must replace the equipment before the match.

Veteran Category

1.Eligibility

(1) Nationality: No restrictions.

(2) Age Requirements: Participants must enter the category corresponding to their age as of December 31, 2024.

*Each participant may enter up to two categories, but only one category per day.
*Age divisions in the Veterans category may be adjusted depending on the number of participants
*Holding a license from the International Fencing Federation (FIE), the Asian Fencing Confederation, or any national fencing federation are not required.

o JPY 2,000 per additional category (for Japan residents)
