The 7th Chofu Fencing

The 7th Chofu City Fencing Spring Tournament (sponsored by Chofu City Fencing Association and MNH Sports Inc.) will be held on March 20.
This is a tournament that is easy to participate in for beginners and first-time participants.
Those who are participating in this tournament for the first time are also welcome to join. We are looking forward to seeing many participants.

・Over-age entries are permitted.
・In cases of overlapping entries with over-age categories, priority will be given to entries for the participant’s actual grade level. These will be accepted as “waitlisted” during registration, and participation confirmation will be provided after the schedule is finalized.
・For the 18+ category, subcategories may be combined depending on the number of applications.
・Middle and high school students with approximately one year of competition experience may also participate in the team matches.

■Eligibility
No restrictions on residency or nationality.
■Participation Fees
Individual Category: ¥5,000 per event.
Team Category: ¥13,000 per team.
Sitting Matches: ¥5,000 (¥2,000 if participating in other categories).

■Equipment Guidelines
Uniforms and Protectors: Minimum 350N.
Female Competitors: Hard protectors are mandatory (pad covers not required).
Masks: Minimum 350N, safety visually confirmed by referees.
Gloves & Cuffs: Separate cuffs allowed.
Recommendations: 800N for short-sleeve protectors and gloves for safety.
■Weapon Check
Conducted by referees on-site.
Penalties for Equipment Issues:
First offense: Yellow Card.
Subsequent offenses: Red Card.
